Any applicable adjustments will be communicated to the account prior to production where reasonably practicable.

Subject to approval, OpticalLab.ca permits one (1) remake per patient and prescription within ninety (90) days of the original invoice date.

Eligible circumstances include:
• Prescription change
• Non-adaptation (progressive lenses only, where applicable)
• Verified measurement correction or confirmed laboratory error
Conditions:
• Original lenses may be required to be returned prior to remake authorization
• Replacement lenses will be supplied at equal or lesser value unless otherwise agreed (price
differential may apply)

Single vision, bifocal, and trifocal lenses are generally excluded from non-adapt consideration unless
otherwise determined by the laboratory.

from the original invoice date.
Covered defects include:
• Coating failure (including peeling, delamination, or abnormal degradation)
• Material or surfacing defects
• Verified production errors
Warranty claims require the original invoice and may require return of the product for inspection.
This warranty excludes damage arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, improper handling, or
inappropriate cleaning methods.

9. Stock Lenses
Stock lenses may be returned subject to a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee unless the return is
attributable to a confirmed laboratory error.

10. Patient-Owned Frames (POF)
OpticalLab.ca exercises reasonable care in processing patient-owned frames.
However, frames that are aged, brittle, previously repaired, or heat-damaged are inherently higher risk
during manufacturing processes such as edging and mounting.
OpticalLab.ca shall not be liable for damage resulting from pre-existing frame conditions or material
failure during normal processing procedures.

11. Tinting & Appearance
Tint results may vary due to material differences, coating interactions, and manufacturing batch
variations.
While reasonable efforts are made to achieve colour consistency, exact colour matching cannot be
guaranteed. Minor variation shall be deemed acceptable within industry standards.

Accounts are payable in accordance with agreed credit terms.
Overdue balances are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge (18%/year) and may result in account
suspension or placement on hold until the account is brought current.
